“I have taken several salsa classes at Salsa Dance Marin with Lucie and John at the beginner and intermediate levels. They provide a very friendly, enjoyable and supportive atmosphere. Lucie and John both teach and coach with expertise and focus closely on what I and the other students are doing and how to make corrections. Not only do Lucie and John teach the steps and patterns clearly, but they put it all in the context of real world dancing in a club and how to pay attention to the ability of my partner – adjusting accordingly – so I can make the dance most pleasant for us both. That is so important to me, as being able to enjoy dancing with partners of different abilities in a club setting is my whole reason for taking salsa lessons. Their location in San Rafael right off of 101 is super convenient. They offer different Latin based classes and have a number of different instructors. I have taken one of the other classes with a different instructor, and it was equally recommendable. Overall, I highly recommend Salsa Dance Marin.”
