Dame Tres es una llamada de cambio de pareja de la rueda de casino: desde el básico compartido de la rueda, cada líder suelta a la seguidora actual, recorre el círculo pasando a dos seguidoras disponibles y toma a la tercera como nueva pareja. La rueda es un baile en círculo de origen cubano derivado del casino en el que varias parejas ejecutan figuras cantadas de manera conjunta, por lo que Dame Tres funciona menos como un patrón de vuelta individual que como una redistribución sincronizada de parejas.[1] La figura normalmente conserva el tiempo social de salsa/timba propio del casino: un quiebre por compás, con la primera mitad empleada para separarse y desplazarse, y la segunda mitad empleada para llegar, conectar y restablecer la guapea.[2] Mecánicamente, el líder rompe hacia atrás con el pie izquierdo en el 1 mientras la seguidora rompe hacia atrás con el pie derecho; ambos se alejan de su propio centro antes de que el líder avance hacia la tercera seguidora y la seguidora reciba al líder que llega desde el lugar adyacente. La llamada pertenece a la familia Dame: Dame Dos se describe explícitamente como un salto hacia la segunda seguidora, lo que convierte a Dame Tres en la extensión de ese salto hacia la tercera, dentro de la misma lógica de intercambio de parejas de la rueda.[3]

ConteoCasino/Rueda On1 phrasing: one break per measure. First measure, 1-2-3 separates and releases from the current partner; second measure, 5-6-7 completes travel and connection with the third available follower. No steps are normally counted on 4 and 8.
Líder
From guapea, break back on left on 1, replace on 2, and release the current follower by 3 while beginning to travel around the rueda. Continue past the first and second available followers on 5-6, take the third follower by 7, and settle facing the new partner ready to resume guapea on the next 1.
Seguidor
From guapea, break back on right on 1, replace on 2, and keep the rueda place available by 3 as the current leader leaves. On 5-6, maintain the slot-like opening of the pareja position without chasing the departing leader; receive the arriving leader by 7 and settle facing him ready to resume guapea on the next 1.
Tiempo musicalBest at moderate rueda social tempos, roughly 150-185 bpm. At 190 bpm and above, the travel to the third follower becomes a fast-end spacing challenge unless the circle is wide and the dancers keep compact steps.

Ten cuidado
Errores comunes
- Counting Dame Tres as a turn pattern instead of a travelling partner-change call.
- Skipping only one follower, which produces Dame Dos rather than Dame Tres.
- Beginning with opposite travel directions rather than mirrored break mechanics: leader breaks back left on 1 while follower breaks back right on 1.
- Arriving late after count 7, which compresses the next couple's space and disrupts the circle.
- Pulling the follower forward on count 1 instead of releasing first and letting the exchange happen during the later counts.
