El Dos es una llamada de rueda de casino en la que el líder activo cambia de pareja al pasar de largo a la seguidora inmediatamente adyacente y tomar a la siguiente seguidora, situada dos posiciones más allá en el círculo; la misma figura también se llama Dame Dos en muchos contextos de enseñanza de rueda.[1] Pertenece al vocabulario cubano de rueda de casino, una forma grupal guiada por un cantante asociada con el baile social de casino y difundida posteriormente por comunidades internacionales de baile latino.[2] En un marco pedagógico común de ocho tiempos, la pareja comienza desde la temporalidad de guapea: en 1-2-3 ambos integrantes se separan con pies en espejo y luego recuperan; en 5-6-7 el líder se desplaza alrededor del círculo, pasa de largo a una seguidora y prepara la segunda conexión, mientras la seguidora suelta limpiamente y permanece disponible rítmicamente para el líder que llega.[3] Algunas versiones enseñadas comienzan con, o incluyen, un intercambio semejante a enchufla antes de saltar de pareja, y pueden usar brevemente la posición corporal del líder para redirigir el tránsito antes del regreso al básico.[4] La figura normalmente se trata como material de rueda de nivel principiante a intermedio inicial, porque la habilidad principal no es la complejidad de la vuelta sino el espaciamiento, la temporalidad y el reconocimiento de la distancia de pareja indicada por la llamada.[3]

Líder
Casino/rueda On1 teaching count: from guapea, break back on the left on 1, replace on 2, collect on 3 while maintaining the circle shape. On 5-6-7 travel counter-clockwise around the rueda, pass the immediately next follower without stopping, and offer the receiving hand to the second follower so the new pair can settle into guapea on the next 1. If an enchufla entry is used, open the exchange about a quarter turn on 1-2-3, then complete the partner change by the end of 5-6-7.
Seguidor
Casino/rueda On1 teaching count: from guapea, break back on the right on 1, replace on 2, collect on 3, staying oriented to the current leader and the circle. On 5-6-7 release the departing leader without chasing him, keep time in place or with the taught rueda travel, and receive the arriving leader from the previous position so the new pair can restart guapea on the next 1. In enchufla-entry versions, turn through the invited exchange on 1-2-3, then re-square to the circle by 5-6-7.
Tiempo musicalBest at moderate social casino/rueda tempos around 150-185 bpm, where leaders can travel past one follower without rushing. Around 190 bpm and above, the call becomes fast and demands compact travel, early preparation, and disciplined circle spacing.

Ten cuidado
Errores comunes
- Leader stops at the immediately next follower instead of skipping to the second follower.
- Leader leaves too late on 5-6-7, causing the receiving follower to be missed on the next 1.
- Follower chases the departing leader rather than staying rhythmically available for the arriving leader.
- Partners break on the wrong foot by treating the mirrored roles as opposite directions instead of opposite feet with both breaking away from the partnership.
- The circle compresses because leaders travel inward instead of maintaining rueda spacing.
- The enchufla-entry version is over-turned on 1-2-3, leaving insufficient time to complete the partner change on 5-6-7.
No confundir con
Movimientos que se confunden
- Dame: a one-partner change to the next follower, not a skip to the second follower.
- Dame Dos: the same call as El Dos in many rueda settings, not a separate turn pattern.
- Dos con dos or other regional calls containing dos: not automatically the same figure unless the call specifically means skipping one follower to take the second.
- Linear cross-body lead: a slot-based partner exchange, not the circular rueda partner-skip structure of El Dos.
