Prima con Familia es un llamado de rueda de casino perteneciente a la familia Prima: comienza como Prima con Hermana y luego añade una sección de desplazamiento con el brazo enganchado antes de que el líder suelte a la seguidora actual y avance hacia la siguiente en el círculo.[1] En la rueda, varias parejas bailan en una formación circular bajo la dirección de un cantante que anuncia la siguiente figura sincronizada, por lo que este movimiento se entiende como un patrón de llamado grupal y no como una figura independiente de salsa lineal.[2] Mecánicamente, la primera frase acerca a la seguidora hacia sí por debajo de su propio brazo derecho levantado, gira a la pareja en conjunto y envía al líder hacia la siguiente seguidora; la extensión Hermana añade el giro derecho del líder y un reencare similar a la enchufla, antes de que el final Familia enganche el brazo y haga caminar a la seguidora alrededor durante un compás adicional de ocho tiempos.[1] Su ritmo sigue el fraseo habitual de ocho tiempos del casino, con pasos activos en 1-2-3 y 5-6-7 y una pausa por compás. Líder
From guapea, the leader breaks back on left on 1 while lifting the follower's right hand and drawing the follower inward on 2-3. On 5-6-7, the leader rotates with the follower as a close Prima wrap, about a half-turn split across the entry and shared turn. The leader then completes the Hermana action: turns right under the joined arm, re-faces the follower, and leads an enchufla-like exchange on the next 1-2-3 and 5-6-7. For the Familia ending, the leader hooks the arm at the end of the enchufla, walks the follower around for one full eight-count with compact circular travel, then releases and moves to the next follower to the leader's right on the final 5-6-7.
Seguidor
From guapea, the follower breaks back on right on 1, then steps inward on 2-3 under the raised right arm without anticipating a forward break on count 1. On 5-6-7, the follower stays close to the leader through the Prima rotation, turning in stages with the shared wrap rather than spinning independently. During the Hermana section, the follower tracks the leader's right turn, then executes the enchufla-like reorientation in two parts: entering across the leader's front on 1-2-3 and re-facing on 5-6-7. In the Familia ending, the follower allows the hooked arm to create the circular walk for one eight-count, keeps steps small, and finishes prepared for the next leader on the final 5-6-7.
