Enredala es un llamado de rueda de casino construido sobre el vocabulario social de agarre abierto del casino, más que sobre un carril fijo: las parejas bailan en una formación de rueda mientras el cantante anuncia figuras sincronizadas para el grupo.[1] En la forma base, el líder usa el primer compás para invitar a la seguidora hacia adentro desde el tiempo de guapea, cambiando la trayectoria de las manos para que ella rote hacia la izquierda por etapas hasta quedar en una posición envuelta o con los brazos cruzados; el segundo compás suelta el enredo y restablece el agarre abierto de frente. La seguidora no se lanza hacia adelante en el primer tiempo: rompe hacia atrás sobre su propio pie derecho, y luego se desplaza y se reorienta siguiendo la trayectoria de manos redirigida por el líder. Se suele situar el origen de la Rueda de Casino en los círculos de baile social de La Habana de los años 50, con una difusión posterior a través de las comunidades de salsa cubanas y de Miami.[2] Enredala pertenece al repertorio de llamado y respuesta, en el que los nombres funcionan como señales prácticas para un patrón compartido; fuera de los ambientes de rueda/casino, el mismo enredo físico puede describirse de manera genérica como una envoltura o un abrazo, pero esos no son nombres de llamado regionales estables para esta figura de rueda.

From open guapea hold, break back on left on 1, recover and begin drawing the follower inward on 2-3 while keeping the joined hand pathway compact. On 5-6-7, guide her left/counter-clockwise in stages into the wrap, with roughly 90 degrees of reorientation as she enters and roughly another 90 degrees as the crossed-arm shape closes. Release or unwind on the next 1-2-3 and restore open facing position on 5-6-7.
Seguidor
From open guapea hold, break back on right on 1, recover on 2, and begin traveling inward only after the break. On 5-6-7, follow the raised or redirected hand path into a left/counter-clockwise wrap, turning approximately 90 degrees into the pathway and approximately 90 degrees more to settle the crossed-arm position. On the next 1-2-3, unwind through the release and return to open facing position on 5-6-7.
Tiempo musicalBest at moderate social rueda tempos, roughly 150-185 bpm. Above about 190 bpm, the wrap must be smaller and the release simpler to keep the follower balanced and the group synchronized.

- Starting the follower forward on count 1 instead of preserving her back break on her own right foot.
- Pulling the wrap with the arms rather than redirecting the hand path while the follower travels under her own balance.
- Collapsing the frame so the crossed-arm position traps the follower’s shoulders or elbows.
- Under-rotating the staged turn, leaving the follower neither clearly wrapped nor clearly facing the leader.
- Using an outside/right-turn pathway while still calling the figure Enredala as a left-wrap entry.
No confundir con
Movimientos que se confunden
- Enchufla: a related casino turning action, but not itself the wrapped Enredala shape.
- Dile que no: a casino cross-body-style resolution, not the wrap figure.
