Fly es una llamada rítmica básica en Rueda de Casino, una forma circular cubana en la que múltiples parejas responden a un cantante mientras mantienen la estructura compartida de la rueda.[1] A diferencia de las figuras con desplazamiento que intercambian parejas o hacen rotar a la pareja por el espacio, Fly se centra en una palmada añadida al básico continuo de casino; una fuente la identifica específicamente como un movimiento básico de rueda caracterizado principalmente por una palmada.[2] En el tiempo ordinario de casino, la pareja continúa el marco de pasos de dos compases 1-2-3, 5-6-7, con una ruptura por compás, mientras la palmada se inserta sin cambiar de pareja, de posición lineal ni de dirección de vuelta. Por lo tanto, el líder y el seguidor/a conservan un trabajo de pies espejado: cada uno rompe hacia afuera en el conteo de ruptura apropiado para el tiempo local y regresa a través del básico, usando la palmada como acento rítmico y no como guía para desplazarse. El nombre circula en el vocabulario de rueda como la llamada derivada del inglés “Fly”, con variantes relacionadas cantadas como Dos Fly, Fly línea y Festival de Fly documentadas como secuencias ampliadas de palmadas y movimiento corporal.[3]

In casino On1 rueda timing, maintain the basic through 1-2-3 and 5-6-7, breaking once per measure. Keep the follower oriented in place, release only enough hand contact to allow the clap, mark the called Fly as a compact rhythmic clap, and reestablish the normal basic connection by the next 1.
Seguidor
In the same 1-2-3, 5-6-7 casino frame, preserve mirrored footwork and do not travel forward as if entering a turn or partner change. Break once per measure, answer the leader’s release by marking the clap in place, and return to the normal rueda basic connection by the next 1.
