Principe Bueno es una llamada con nombre propio en la Rueda de Casino, la forma social cubana en la que varias parejas bailan en círculo y responden a las figuras anunciadas por un cantante.[1] La figura se construye sobre Enchufla: el líder inicia el giro interior de la seguidora hacia la izquierda, en sentido antihorario, durante el primer compás, y luego usa el segundo compás para soltarla y avanzar hacia la siguiente pareja de la rueda.[2] Su acción distintiva es un gesto cortés de beso de mano a la seguidora actual antes de que el líder se marche, lo cual la distingue de Principe Malo, donde la acción teatral contrastante es una pantomima de cachetada en vez de un beso.[3] En el conteo a tiempo habitual de la rueda, la acción encaja en el marco de salsa 1-2-3, 5-6-7: el intercambio de giro ocurre en la primera mitad, y el cambio de pareja se resuelve en la segunda mitad. El movimiento pertenece al vocabulario de rueda cubano que más tarde circuló internacionalmente entre las comunidades de casino y rueda, incluida la transmisión de la diáspora cubana a través de Miami.[4]

On 5-6-7, offer stable hand tone for the kiss gesture, finish balance, and be ready for the next leader's connection by 7.
