About the night

As successor to the most traditional milonga in the Rhine-Main area („Milonga am Mittwoch“), it now takes place Thursdays as Noche Azul. Rotating DJs bring excellent, traditional music. The level is usually good to excellent, though ambitious newcomers willing to adapt are welcome too. Know how mirada and cabeceo work: on entering the ronda, after ~20 seconds into the tanda, make eye contact with the leader you're merging in front of before stepping in — don't delay, don't crowd the couple ahead. Detailed etiquette guidance is available for anyone who wants specifics. Thursday: dance tango — Friday at work will sort itself out, and then it's already the weekend!
