Morgan and Rachel CRUSHED their first dance choreography to Dadi Freyr's "Think About Things." They wanted to recreate the choreography from the music video, and we did just that! We added a couple fun touches like dips and turns, but they added the FUN!!! They definitely gave their family and friends something to be excited to watch and made a lasting memory at their wedding! Kaitlynn and Anthony came to us at The First Dance Place with a vision of performing a First Dance just like the choreography in The Greatest Showman. They were able to learn a dance that is whimsical, fun, flowy, and romantic full with lifts, and musical moments that really captures the love they feel for each other. Dancing in moonlight gives the absolute feeling of love, and Narisa and Kyle bring it to life! They LOVED the show Umbrella Academy and wanted to do the dance scene similar to the one from that show. We modified the choreography to make it more for their level and what they wanted (the bride was learning with a broken foot!) and created a salute to the show they loved so much. Tristan and Barrett ROCKED the socks off their guests with their choreographed first dance to the Motown classic "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. They wanted a mix of styles so we incorporated swing that was bubbly and fun like them with rumba that was romantic and loveable and mixed in flashy bits of choreography for them to show off to with their big personalities! Charlene and Nick were looking for a challenge even as beginner dancers and they rose to the occasion! For their Halloween-time wedding, they selected Annie Lennox's version of "I Put A Spell On You" and wanted to totally surprise their guests. No one expected them to dance and they wow-ed the crowd! Cynthia and Geoff had this crazy idea to wow their guests at their wedding. They were total beginners but were ready for a challenge and really wanted to do a medley of different songs and styles! Cynthia wanted to start slow with a more traditional first dance to Righteous Brother's "Unchained Melody" to lull the guests into thinking all they were getting was romance....and then they busted out into Elvis Crespo's "Tu Sonrisa" for a Merengue to match her energetic personality and celebrate her Latin heritage. But they didn't stop there! They finished up by transitioning into a super fun, choreographed, disco hustle to Geoff's favorite song "I Need You Tonight" by Punkin' Machine.
