The Studio - Ballroom & Latin Dance (Southampton)

• “We had the most amazing experience at The Studio by Hill Street! My husband and I did a series of dance lessons for our wedding first dance, and it was not only incredibly helpful, but also so much fun! Mitch (aka Monito) was patient, professional, and truly attentive to our vision. Even though most couples probably go with a ballroom or waltz style, he was completely open to working with our salsa-style first dance. He created a beautiful sequence of steps that we not only used for our choreography, but can now carry with us and apply to other songs, and honestly, to dancing together as a couple in general. His teaching style is thoughtful, detailed, and encouraging. Heather was also absolutely wonderful! supportive, uplifting, and always full of positive energy. Her kind words kept us motivated and excited to keep showing up to every session. Both of them are amazing people: respectful, knowledgeable, punctual, and truly passionate about what they do. The studio itself is spotless: clean, cool, spacious, and very well maintained. Such a comfortable and welcoming environment to learn in. We both highly recommend The Studio by Hill Street. Whether you're preparing for your wedding first dance, looking to level up your skills, or starting completely from scratch, you’ll find a patient, supportive, and talented team you can count on. We are super grateful and so happy with our experience! 💛💃🕺”

• “My wife and I came to The Studio for dance lessons ahead of our wedding, and we truly could not have had a better experience. Heather and Monito were so much fun to work with and genuinely invested in making sure we felt prepared and confident for our big day. We completed four sessions before the wedding, and honestly, we only wish we had started lessons earlier. It was amazing to see what Monito was able to create for us in that timeframe. He has a real talent for tailoring a dance to your song, your comfort level, and the time you have, making sure you feel ready to step onto the dance floor and enjoy the moment. Neither of us had much dancing experience, but they made the entire process comfortable and fun. Their guidance and preparation helped us walk onto the dance floor feeling relaxed and confident, which meant everything to us on the biggest day of our lives that we spent so much time preparing for. We loved working with both Heather and Monito and are so grateful for the time and care they gave us. We are excited to keep dancing and make it something we enjoy together, a fun way for us to spend time as a young couple in the Hamptons. We highly recommend The Studio to anyone looking for talented instructors and a welcoming environment.”

• “Sign up for this really fun class soon as you can! The first class is free. The instructors know how to do their magic regardless of your skill level (or not). And you will meet happy people and actually learn something that will be yours forever... how to dance or Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango or Salsa etc.. This is as good as it gets and the beautiful studio is located right here in Southampton Village.”
