South Street Salsa

I found this studio by happenstance and I am extremely grateful I did. After the first free intro lesson I was hooked. All the instructors are incredibly skilled and Kevin does an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome. All the instructors and students alike here are lovely people and help foster a supportive environment where you’re not afraid to make mistakes. The different membership levels are incredibly reasonable and worthwhile not just for the dance experience but for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful community.

I been taking classes in the studio for a month now and let me tell you I feel so welcomed every time i step into the studio. The staff it’s very friendly. They go over steps by step each lesson so you can understand and practice with every one. I am very happy for what I learned so far. Love Kevin and all his mentors. My husband and I had never taken a Salsa dance lesson before, but I booked a private Valentine’s Day lesson with Kevin at South Street Salsa — and it was such a great experience. Kevin is incredibly knowledgeable and has a way of explaining everything so clearly that we never felt lost or intimidated. He broke things down in a way that made it easy to follow, even as complete beginners. We were laughing, learning, and actually dancing by the end of it. It was the perfect Valentine’s Day experience, and we’ll definitely be back for more lessons. Highly recommend Kevin if you’ve ever wanted to try salsa but didn’t know where to start!
