Tehran's Latin dance scene is small, quiet, and self-organized. Salsa, bachata, and a handful of zouk dancers form a community that has kept rhythms going through years when public mixed-gender social dance is complicated. We list events when organizers share them publicly. The rest happens through trust networks we don't try to map.

When public, gatherings tend to cluster in north Tehran — the Vali-Asr corridor up toward Tajrish, plus a handful of cultural-center halls that occasionally book dance afternoons. Persian-language and English-language channels carry the day-of announcements. Visiting Persian-speaking dancers report a warm welcome; non-Persian-speaking visitors should ask a regular to make introductions.

Show up to a publicly-announced beginner class first. Ask the organizer about social etiquette before attending a social — Tehran's scene operates on relationships, and walking in cold can read wrong. Once you're known, the community is generous.
