Local GuideGoogleThe staff here are amazing. I never knew ballroom dancing could be so much fun and so rewarding. What started as a nice date night has turned into four years of joy and fun. I would recommend Arthur Murray Sugar Land to everyone and anyone who ever wanted to Get up and Get down.

GoogleToday, December 13th, 2025, is our yearly "Jingle Ball", where we can dance 16 dances with our partners and instructors to get feedback about our progress as dancers. The instructors, all of whom are awesome, have worked hard to help us prepare for this event. I realize how lucky I am to have discovered SLAM. Sugar Land Arthur Murray has become my "Happy Place". I have always loved to dance, but never had the opportunity to take any lessons. A good friend of mine introduced my husband & I to the studio. We were so impressed the first time we went for a lesson, we couldn't wait to go back. The owners, April & Chris, are the best! They want to make the students happy and want them to have good experiences learning to dance. They really care about their students! We really lucked out when we got Crissy for our instructor. Besides being a fabulous dancer and wonderful teacher, she is very kind, patient, and giving. Over four years later, I still can't wait to walk into the studio, otherwise known as my "Happy Place".

The instructors are patient, professional, and incredibly skilled at breaking down even the most challenging steps. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and fun.
