DanceKing | How to Register for All Classes Pre-registration is now required for all DanceKing classes. In this video, we walk you step by step through how to pre-register for classes directly on DanceKing.com. This short screen-share shows exactly where to go, how to select your class, and how to complete registration quickly and easily before arriving. Pre-registering allows us to create the best possible experience for both students and instructors. It helps us balance class sizes, prepare lesson flow and music, and ensure everyone gets the attention and energy they deserve. Registration is required for both members and non-members. Members will receive a discount code so registration does not result in an additional charge—it simply holds your place in class. If you have any questions at all, please reach out. GoogleDave and I took lessons with April to get ready for our daughter’s wedding, and it was a great experience. April was incredibly patient and started us on the very basics, which was exactly what we needed. She made everything feel doable and low-stress. Because of that we were able to relax and enjoy the reception instead of worrying about our dancing. April and Adam are welcoming, the instruction is excellent and we’re so glad we decided to take lessons here. Highly recommend- for a big event or just for fun!

April did such a great job of teaching us a variety of dance moves/steps without it being overwhelming, especially for 2 people with no prior dance experience at all. It was such a fun experience for us from beginning to end and we were so confident going into our dance on our actual wedding day!

GoogleYou truly can’t do better than Dance King for professional dance lessons in the DMV area. My partner and I drove over an hour to work with April and Adam as we prepared for our wedding, and after just a few sessions (we only wish we’d started sooner!), we were confidently spinning and dipping our way through a fantastic first dance. April and Adam are patient, encouraging, and an absolute joy to work with—never pushy, always calm and complimentary. Their studio is world-class, equipped with professional cameras, mirrors, a top-notch sound system, and video feedback to help you learn in real time. After a disappointing experience with another instructor, finding Dance King was such a relief. Not all studios are created equal—this one is absolutely worth the drive!
