  I had never danced before and felt quite overwhelmed starting Salsa. The directors, Rey and Zaida, welcomed me and made me feel comfortable from the start. All the instructors are incredibly passionate about this art form. They are patient and consistently push me to improve every day. Their strong focus on technique and fundamentals, combined with their ability to make every class enjoyable, has made the learning process both effective and fun. Salsa has quickly become my favorite hobby. Not only am I learning the dance, but this experience has significantly boosted my overall confidence. I owe this growth to the outstanding directors and the wonderful people I’ve met along the way. If you're looking to start dancing and don't know where to begin, look no further - Guaguané Dance Company is the place to be!

  I have been dancing with Rey & Zaida for the past year and a half and my technique has improved tremendously. They are two people that care about the growth of their students just as long as you show that you are committed. You will get out what you put into this company. If you want to compete, if you want to social dance, perform, if you want to build confidence and find your style, this is the place for you. You get historical context for the dances and movements you're learning, you get a safe space to explore, and, best of all, you get a community of people that become your ride or dies. Rey & Zaida have brought the heat and are showcasing what Atlanta has to offer. It's only up from here. Thank you team!

  Guaguane Dance Co is a safe and welcoming dance company for all levels of Salsa dancers looking to train and grow at their best capacity. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They give personal one on one feedback to help their students grow and are always available to help. I’ve been dancing for almost 4 years now, but this last year that I have spent at Guaguane has been the biggest growth for me as a dancer and performer. They have given me the tools and confidence to take my dancing to the next level. I am so grateful for this company and the opportunities it has provided me! They are my home away from home and my second family.

  Stepping into the Latin dance scene has been a challenge but this company has given me the tools to ease into it and gain foundational skills to grow as a dancer. I’ve trained here for about 5 months and seen superb evolution from when I started. The instructors, students, and company values build strong dancers. This company excels in carrying a healthy dance culture and cultivating creative spaces to train! The directors are talented, patient, and inviting! You can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend!
