She let us know that she was currently working through surgery & healing but would be available the month before our wedding to teach us a few steps so we felt more confident on the dance floor. Absolutely going out of her way to help, she did not have to do that. We ended up doing three sessions with Lili and NAILED our first dance. We had so much fun working with her. “I came to Boston just for the summer and was so lucky to find Lili Dance. When I first walked in I was basically a beginner in bachata and now I feel like I have made it to a solid intermediate level, at least enough to be confident at socials. Most of that progress came from working with Leah, who was an incredible instructor. She is patient and kind, but also knows how to push you. She let me focus on what I wanted to learn while still making sure I was building a strong foundation and becoming a more well rounded dancer. One thing I really appreciated was that she made learning fun, even when it came to things I did not want to do. Case in point: prep turns. I also got to take a group class with Rafa and Lili and they were both so welcoming and warm. The whole studio has this feeling of community that makes you want to come back, whether you are brand new or already experienced. Lili Dance really became a highlight of my summer in Boston, and I am so glad I found it.”
