• “We are so happy we found the You Can Dance Studio community! We started taking the Monday night group classes, alternating between Salsa and Bachata, and immediately fell in love with the fun, welcoming atmosphere. When it came time to plan our wedding, we decided to take private lessons with Sarajane for our first dance—and it ended up being one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. We began by learning a salsa routine to “Vivir Mi Vida” by Marc Anthony, and after mastering that, we decided to add a couple songs to turn our first dance into a medley. Sarajane quickly came up with a beautiful additional dance to “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman and helped us refine the hip-hop section we had to “Booty” by Latto. She even helped us refine our slow dance intro to “You and I” by Michael Bublé. She ultimately helped us tie everything together seamlessly so the performance flowed naturally and truly reflected us as a couple. Even though I had some dance experience and my husband did not, Sarajane was incredible at balancing our levels, teaching in a way that made us both feel confident, and keeping every session light, supportive, and fun. She also provided great advice on direction and stage placement—we were even able to send a practice video to our photographer and videographer so they knew exactly when to capture key moments like our lifts and poses. Right before we left, we also had an extra lesson with Cole, who helped us refine transitions and polish the final performance—his feedback was spot-on and really took our dance to the next level. Our first dance ended up being such a highlight—our family and friends loved it, and we had so much fun performing it. We’re so grateful to Sarajane and the entire You Can Dance Studio team for making this experience so special. No matter your skill level, they make dancing approachable, joyful, and something you’ll look forward to every week. We can’t wait to keep coming back for their awesome group classes and socials!”
